I Am A Poet

I love to write,

I love the smile it brings not only to my face,

but to the soul of all the inncocent lives I'm about to change.

I love the absolute honesty I'm aloud to pour into every crevase of my poems,

without fear of facing the wrath of those whom my emotions arise from.

I love the fact that my words can shape whatever they desire,

there are no rules to tie me down,

and no walls to hold me back.

When I write,

I am free.

I love the title poet,

I've only said it aloud once,

however it was an experience I'll never forget.
