I am from moonlight reflecting off dusty mirrors,
from frogs leaping alone on wet lippypads, from pens who have run out of ink that
I am from morning coffee,
silence being broken by the sound of rain pattering,
From leaning bare legs against the wall next to the fire,
Warmth seeping from our skin into our soul
The sun is peaking over the horizon, hesitating just for a second before leaping into a new day,
But i don't blame it - I would do the same
My alarm clock pounds into my ear and I slam the top of the plastic button. Whispers of the blaring echo around the blue walls and I am frozen for a moment, listening to the sounds of silence.
You are walking in front of me,
Confidently striding down another unknown street,
kickin up stardust at every turn,
Leaving me to wade underneath its shimmering consequences,
But I never minded
You - seatbelt forfeiting,
J-walking expert,
pancakes for dinner- you
Going great places, you
“Were better off as friends'',
saying - you
Dancing in the streets - us.

wow, so beautiful!
